The Philadelphia Business Journal has released its 2018 Book of Lists and JBCI is included for the first time ever! Our firm achieved 34th among the area’s Engineering Firms with the most local licensed engineers.
This inclusion is coming off a big year for JBCI where we welcomed an expanded full time staff and part time staff to help support and match record-breaking growth in 2016 and 2017. We were also recently was recognized with the Fast Growth Award and celebrated our 50th Anniversary; kicking off 2018 with some intense momentum.
JBCI recently renovated its headquarters and welcomed a new space to collaborate, socialize, and work. The “Huddle Space” as we call it needed artwork to align with its purpose – to inspire collaboration.
After a bit of brainstorming, the team worked with GDLoft, a Philadelphia-based graphics firm, to develop a cityscape of iconic JBCI projects. JBCI provided consulting engineering services for all of these buildings which are:

Joseph B. Callaghan, Inc. welcomes Giles Wozniak to the team as our newest Project Engineer. Giles joins JBCI after completing a Bachelor of Science in Architectural and Civil Engineering at Drexel University. He comes to us from Intelligent Infrastructure Systems where he worked to design and install structural health monitoring systems and create finite element models of bridges.
He is an avid mountain biker and loves exploring trails around Philadelphia including the Wissahickon.
